Ben Chilwell responded to Chelsea teammate Mason Mount last night on Instagram to claim his gym work is starting to pay off after his performance against Real Madrid.
22-year-old attacking midfielder Mount was part of the side that recorded a 1-1 draw in Spain on Tuesday night in the Champions League semi-final first leg.
Christian Pulisic netted the vital away goal to take back to Stamford Bridge next week, albeit Karim Benzema equalised in the tie with a remarkable volley.
Blues left-back Chilwell, 24, sent a message on social media to Mount after playing alongside him last night on the Champions League stage.

It sounds like Chilwell is having a good joke with his teammate on Instagram. However, in fairness, Mount does look like he’s developing physically as a player this campaign, so must be putting the work in behind the scenes.
If you look at English duo Chilwell and Mount, both are now instrumental figures in the Chelsea XI.
Chilwell has earned the right to be the first-choice left wing-back in Thomas Tuchel’s side, edging out Marcos Alonso in the last few games. It was another encouraging defensive performance from him again last night against Madrid.
Meanwhile, Mount showed on the elite stage against Madrid some of his individual brilliance.
There were some superb touches, dribbles and movements from him, plus he worked his socks off for 90 minutes all over the pitch.
