Thomas Tuchel gave Chelsea supporters on social media something to smile about ahead of his post-match press conference last night.
Those who attended – or watched on from their sofas – the Champions League tie against Zenit St Petersburg won’t have been too amused with the performance.
The Blues just edged out a 1-0 win, thanks to a second-half header from man-of-the-hour Romelu Lukaku.
Zenit did their very best to contain Chelsea’s attack, a task they stuck to valiantly until the Belgian propelled himself through the London air.
Despite the generally underwhelming display from his team, Tuchel was in high spirits after the game.
His speech to the media was delayed due to technical issues, which gave the German coach a chance to showcase some vocal skills.
One camera captured the Blues boss singing ‘Under Pressure’ by Queen, a song that probably didn’t help the poor gentlemen trying to organise the Zoom call.
Blues fans certainly did enjoy this small rendition, especially after witnessing a disappointing exhibition from their team.
Here’s how they reacted on Twitter:

Had yesterday’s result not gone Chelsea’s way, perhaps Tuchel would have whistled the tune of ‘Was It All Worth It’?’ instead.
There haven’t been too many mediocre moments since the former Paris-Saint Germain coach took over from Frank Lampard.
It’s all been ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘We Are the Champions’.
Yet, Tuesday’s slim win over Zenit proved a timely reminder that a king, or Queen’s, castle can come crumbling down at any moment.
Tuchel will be well aware of this fact and is probably already on the training ground ironing out any mistakes from this European outing.
