La Liga side Sevilla have announced the 22-man squad they have brought to London ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League group stage tie with Chelsea.

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea side will want to bounce back with a win after the disappointing 3-3 draw against Southampton in which they conceded a last-gasp equaliser after leading 2-0 and 3-2.

But their next opponents are Europa League winners Sevilla, who could arguably prove their toughest challenger in Group E.

“You have to have absolute focus because of the level of teams you’re playing, and particularly as we start against Sevilla,” Lampard told Chelsea’s official website as he sent a message to his players.

Fortunately for the Blues, Sevilla aren’t in a good run themselves after their 1-0 loss to Granada last weekend tainted a respectable draw against Barcelona before the international break.

And for their trip to Stamford Bridge, the La Liga side have announced three players are out for the game including their new signing – Hakim Ziyech’s Morocco teammate Oussama Idrissi – and centre-back Jules Kounde.

“Sevilla FC flew to London this Monday morning ahead of their debut tomorrow in Group E in the Champions League against Chelsea,” the club stated on its official website.

“Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla FC’s manager, has brought all his available players to London, with only Idrissi and Kounde missing out, while Aleix Vidal was not registered in the Champions League squad.”

For the home side, goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is out of the game due to a thigh injury although Thiago Silva, who missed out on the Southampton game due to a fitness issue after international duty with Brazil, could return to the starting line-up.
