Spanish media think that Tuchel is going to start £58m Chelsea player in attack tonight
Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic is being tipped to start tonight against Real Madrid by one of the main Spanish media outlets.
Pulisic, 23, wasn’t involved in the Chelsea squad for their weekend defeat to Brentford in the Premier League. He had a lot of travelling in the recent international break with the United States, though.
The American attacker was involved in Tuesday’s training session with the rest of the Blues squad.
Thomas Tuchel has been preparing his group for a huge Champions League quarter final first leg against Madrid, which takes place on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge.
Spanish publication Marca has released its predicted line-ups for both Chelsea and Madrid.
Interestingly, they think Pulisic will return to the squad tonight and straight into the starting XI. He could form an attack alongside teammates Mason Mount and Kai Havertz.
Chelsea should have confident Pulisic
For certain, Pulisic will be desperate to be back in the side for a massive Champions League showdown.
The left-winger netted a hat-trick for the US during the recent break, with his country sealing their qualification to the World Cup later this year and setting up a match against England.
Pulisic scored and assisted last season when Chelsea beat Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals, too.
The £58million speedster can be unplayable on his day, so now is the perfect time for him to pull out one of his best performances.
