'Agent Tammy': Some Chelsea fans react as players send birthday wishes to Sancho

Chelsea players Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi have sent birthday wishes to England teammate Jadon Sancho on social media.

The Borussia Dortmund winger turns 20 today and Abraham and Hudson-Odoi sent birthday wishes to their England teammate on Instagram.

Hudson-Odoi, who is just a few months younger, posted photos of him and Sancho in England shirts to his Instagram stories and said: “Happy birthday my bro, keep shining and enjoy your day.”

Tammy uploaded similar photos along with a caption saying: “Happy Birthday, bro. Keep inspiring and motivating the young g’s. Stay blessed. Stay indoors.”

Some Chelsea fans, who are surely aware of Chelsea’s reported interest in Sancho, took the posts as an approach to bring the winger to Stamford Bridge.

“Agent Tammy,” said some Chelsea fans in the comments.

Some even went so far as to beg Abraham to convince Sancho to join Frank Lampard’s youth movement. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Chelsea are reportedly ready to meet Dortmund’s £120million asking price for Sancho but are facing fierce competition in their pursuit of the former Manchester City player, including from a number of  Premier League clubs such as Manchester United and Liverpool.

It is hardly a surprise. Who wouldn’t want a player who already had 31 goals and 42 assists in his teenage years?
