Santos, 19, started and played just over an hour in Chelsea’s dominant victory against Wrexham.
He slotted into a two-man midfield quite effortlessly alongside Cesare Casadei, which is why we’re now wondering if he can force his way into Pochettino’s main squad for the new campaign.
Manwhile, Angelo is an even younger prospect that has a lot to show on the ball.
The 18-year-old right-winger was a serious threat during his second-half performance against Wrexham.
Eventually, his perseverance paid off when he provided a beautiful assist with his through ball for Ben Chilwell’s goal at the end of the contest.

Santos and Angelo definitely look like stars for the future, but perhaps will learn out a lot more about them in the weeks ahead.
