Antonio Rudiger has admitted he loves that Chelsea teammate Mason Mount has a “dirty side” to his game.

With the Champions League final less than 24 hours away, there is a lot of talk about who tomorrow’s potential match-winner could be.

If you look at Chelsea, Mount is the name on most people’s lips.

22-year-old Blues star Mount will be hoping he can be the hero tomorrow for his boyhood club in the colossal European final against Manchester City.

The attacking midfielder, who has played in advanced positions too under manager Thomas Tuchel, has been the go-to guy at Stamford Bridge this year. He scored in both the quarter-finals and semi-finals en route to tomorrow.

Chelsea centre-back Rudiger, 28, has hailed Mount:

“For me, it’s incredible. His energy level is really, really good. Also, because I’m a defender, he has that dirty side of him. He has that in him,” Rudiger said.

Mason Mount is the complete player at Chelsea

Interestingly, Rudiger has picked up on a side of Mount’s game that often gets overlooked.

The England international is renowned for his passing, shooting, movement and overall technical ability. However, he’s the all-round package for what he does off the ball.

His relentless energy makes him a pest for opponents, and there is a ‘dirty side’ in the sense he’ll do anything to win.

He will become even more tactically aware with more experience, something that Tuchel will be helping with.
