Cesar Azpilicueta said Thomas Tuchel has made his demands clear to everyone in his squad since he first arrived at the club.
For Tuchel, the priority is to help the team to bounce back from recent slumps and at least secure a Champions League spot at the end of the season.
The top four is clearly still within reach despite the seven-point gap to fourth-placed Liverpool at the moment.
The 47-year-old also has the quality in his squad to achieve that. But first, he would have to get everyone in the dressing room on board.
And according to Azpilicueta, Tuchel has done exactly that.

“Since he arrived, he made it clear what he wanted from us,” the defender told Chelsea’s official website.
“He said that he was very happy to manage this group of talented players, experienced players.
“We have a good mix of everything and he wanted to achieve the targets that we want, to do it all together.
“We are halfway through the season, we still have lots to play for and we have our objectives, and we know playing for this club always requires high standards every single day.”

Despite the reports about a divided dressing room at Chelsea, Azpilicueta insisted that it is normal that there can be a little tension when the things are not going well on the pitch.
“That’s our job, that’s our passion and obviously we are not happy when results are not going well and sometimes, yes, we have seen the reaction from the fans but there is no issue,” he told The Telegraph.
“We are all together working.
“We want the best for the team and, hopefully, this negativity we can leave it behind, and we go together.”
