Billy Gilmour, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Christian Pulisic are in contention to face Sevilla as Chelsea manager Frank Lampard plans for team rotation.
It is going to be a big match against an in-form Sevilla side, who have won their last five games in all competitions.
The winner at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium will take the top spot of Group E with a three-point lead heading into the last game of the group stage.
However, several Chelsea players clearly need some rest as pointed out by Frank Lampard in his pre-match press conference.
N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount and Timo Werner are among those who could be rested on Wednesday.
It could pave the way for Jorginho, Billy Gilmour, Pulisic and Hudson-Odoi, who all need some minutes under their belt.
Fitness-wise, they are ready, as you can see from the training footage below.
“We are fully fit and ready to go,” Lampard told reporters on Tuesday (via Chelsea’s official website).
“Yes, we will look at making changes to the side and I’ll have to do that for different reasons.
“Some players have been playing a lot and it’s been a hectic schedule and will be a busy period over the next few weeks.”
