Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi has shared that Mason Mount is one teammate that he absolutely loves playing alongside at Stamford Bridge.
Hudson-Odoi, 20, is one of the crop of Blues youngsters in the first-team squad that has come through the club’s impressive academy.
22-year-old teammate Mount is another huge success from the the youth ranks.
He’s an attacking midfielder that had a superb debut campaign last year in the first team, something which has continued into his second season.
The England international is someone that can operate deeper in a central midfield position if needed, but most of the time under manager Thomas Tuchel he’s played in more forward roles.
Hudson-Odoi has given a glowing verdict of the influential Chelsea playmaker:
“Playing with him is a joy. The way he presses to win the ball back, the way he tries to find you early. He just creates so many chances, his movement is very good, off the ball he works hard, he’s a great player to play with,” Hudson-Odoi told Soccer AM.

If Chelsea fans were asked for their player of the season so far, it would be a surprise is Mount wasn’t one of the stars finishing in a podium position.
He’s one of the few that was still impressing in the first half of this season under ex-boss Frank Lampard.
Additionally, he’s now proven to German manager Tuchel that he’s an instrumental part of the squad, despite the fact he was left out of his first game.
The fact he’s still aged just 22 is really exciting, and the sky is the limit for him.
