Chelsea have ‘confirmed’ 2020/21 home kit will be launched as they reopen Stamford Bridge’s megastore on July 1.

The Blues have just released a statement about the stadium megastore reopening after previously being closed due to the lockdown restrictions.

The statement on Chelsea’s official website reads: “From Wednesday 1 July, we will be safely opening the Stadium Megastore at Stamford Bridge in line with guidance provided by the UK Government and Public Health England.”

But there is one particular line in the statement which pretty much confirmed Wednesday’s home kit launch although it is planned as a surprise.

“Shirt printing services will be suspended 1 to 9 July when the 20/21 home kit launches,” the statement said.

A few days ago, Three announced they have planned “something huge” with Chelsea for the exact date.

The British telecommunication company will be Chelsea’s primary shirt sponsor for the next three seasons, replacing Yokohama Tyres.

There were also leaked pictures of Chelsea players such as Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Billy Gilmour and Marcos Alonso in the new home kit circulating on the social media yesterday.

The new home kit features a simplistic design and the Three’s logo as the new sponsor.
