Chelsea were held to a goalless draw on Tuesday night in the Premier League – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter named Antonio Rudiger as a rare positive following his individual performance.

All the attention around the Blues has been on the proposed European Super League, as they are one of the 12 clubs that signed up to the idea.

However, Sky Sports claims that Chelsea will leave the proposed Super League, with the worldwide negative reaction convincing them to perform a U-turn.

There has been a global outrage to the news over the past 48 hours, plus there were Chelsea fans gathered at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday ahead of the match against Brighton.

On the pitch, it was a real disappointing 0-0 draw at home to Brighton.

They have been so effective since German Thomas Tuchel took charge as manager, but they were miles off the pace tonight and didn’t look like doing too much in the final third when attacking.

A selection of Chelsea supporters believe that their defender Rudiger was a bright spark at least for them.

The 28-year-old centre-back, who played in the back three, was called into action on a couple of times by a Brighton side that looked more threatening in attack.

It also looked like on the ball he was at least trying to be positive.
