Chelsea host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday in a huge Premier League showdown – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are adamant that teenage attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi should start.

Frank Lampard’s side welcome Wolves to Stamford Bridge on the final day of the league season and there is a lot riding on the fixture for both clubs.

The Blues currently sit fourth in the league table and know a point will be enough to guarantee Champions League football for next season, but they will drop down to the Europa League if they lose and fifth-placed Leicester earn a point or more at home to third-placed Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Wolves sit sixth in the league standings right now and are playing to make sure they have European football next season.

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media have urged manager Lampard to prove academy graduate Hudson-Odoi to the starting XI against Wolves.

The 19-year-old made an impressive cameo in the defeat to Liverpool during mid-week with his assist and is still waiting for his first league start since football resumed.

He’s an English speed machine that can play on either wing with his trickery and flair, but many are still waiting for him to really kick on in the senior group and start to show the huge potential he has.
