Chelsea host Manchester United on Sunday in the Premier League – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are urging Blues manager Thomas Tuchel to recall attacker Christian Pulisic.
Chelsea, who are fifth in the league table, host second-placed Man United at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Tuchel has kickstarted his reign in West London with eight games unbeaten in all competitions, while opponents United are the best of the rest right now in the league behind runaway leaders Manchester City.
It was a draw at Old Trafford earlier in the season when the teams faced off, but Tuchel is now the man preparing a side to face opposition manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media are convinced that it’s time for £158,000-a-week star Pulisic to return to the starting XI.
The 22-year-old attacker is back fit again after his latest injury setback, making a late cameo appearance in midweek during the Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid.
He’s a rapid attacker still trying to make a real impact under Tuchel and he’s realistically competing for one of the two forward positions just behind a central striker.
Pulisic has scored just twice in 22 games so far this season in all competitions, but he’s shown in a Blues shirt his individual talent and his massive potential.
Some Chelsea fans suggest ever-present Timo Werner could do with a rest and feel Pulisic would be an ideal replacement against Man United.
