Tino Anjorin played for Chelsea’s Under-23s side yesterday – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were left discussing his qualities afterwards by suggesting he needs more opportunities.
The Blues youth team recorded a 1-1 draw with Leicester City in the Premier League 2 fixture.
Andy Myers’ side remain sixth in the youth league table, as the academy continues to nurture some of the top talents in the country and feed them into the first team.
Anjorin, as well as Billy Gilmour, were given 90 minutes for Chelsea’s Under-23s team to keep up fitness.

Anjorin is usually around the first-team squad in training, albeit his only senior appearance under Thomas Tuchel so far came in the FA Cup early in February.
The 19-year-old is an attacking midfielder by trade that likes to play centrally, but he was pushed into a more advanced position on Monday against Leicester.
He’s also been used as a wide player at times for the first team, but any player making their way in the main team will take any kind of minutes.
A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media were extremely impressed with what they saw from Anjorin this week with the Under-23s, with plenty suggesting he should be getting far more senior minutes to express his talent.
His best hope is to try catch the eye behind the scenes in training and be prepared to impress Tuchel when he’s handed a chance.
