Chelsea recorded a 4-0 victory on Wednesday in the Champions League group stages – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were left in awe of their player Hakim Ziyech.

The Blues managed to pick up a comfortable away victory in Russia against Krasnodar, which temporarily moved them to the top of their European group.

Callum Hudson-Odoi put the English side in front with his 37th minute strike, which came after Jorginho had missed an opportunity from the penalty spot.

Frank Lampard’s side grew in confidence during the second-half with a much better attacking performance, with Timo Werner, Ziyech and Christian Pulisic all getting on the scoresheet late on.

The 27-year-old right-winger looked a danger throughout the contest when cutting inside to his favoured left foot, something which eventually worked for him when he tucked in a close-range finish in the second period.

He’s been eased back into action by manager Lampard after returning from an injury, but he showed signs in midweek why Chelsea signed him for Ajax and it looks like he’ll be a key player moving forward for them.
