Thomas Tuchel’s unbeaten start to his managerial reign at Chelsea has quickly made him well-liked at Stamford Bridge – and he’s become even more popular with some Blues fans after they spotted what he did at full-time against Liverpool.

Chelsea moved into fourth in the Premier League table with a vital 1-0 away victory on Thursday night against Liverpool at Anfield.

It was in-form attacker Mason Mount who scored the winning goal, as he ghosted infield and fired in a superb low finish.

The 22-year-old is thriving in a more advanced position under the new manager, where he’s operating as a number 10 and is encouraged to get forward.

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media love a clip from last night’s full-time whistle against Liverpool that has surfaced.

It shows Blues boss Tuchel lifting Mount in the air in celebration on the pitch.

Ex-Chelsea boss Frank Lampard used England international Mount more than any other player during his time in charge and was often accused of favouritism.

Fortunately, a new manager’s arrival is showing that the academy graduate is playing on merit and what’s so impressive is aged 22 he looks one of the outstanding players.
