Chelsea fans praise Tino Livramento’s performance for the development squad

Chelsea’s development squad beat Leicester City on Friday night – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were blown away by the performance of their rising teenage star Tino Livramento.

The young Blues side edged out Leicester 2-1 at Kingsmeadow in the Premier League 2 fixture to leave them second in the table.

Myles Peart-Harris opened the scoring for Chelsea in the first-half and Henry Lawrence eventually netted the winner in the 88th minute for his side, but it was teammate Livramento who caught the eye.

Livramento assisted both goals with crosses into the penalty area and the defender has been one of the standout players at youth level so far this season for the club.

Despite only turning 18 last month, the London-born full-back already looks one of the most promising talents in the development squad and surely senior manager Frank Lampard is aware of his talent.

Reece James looks like he’s nailed down the senior right-back position for the long-term, but Livramento is definitely a name to keep an eye on this season given the way he’s performed in the past couple of months.

Here are some Blues fans discussing Livramento’s latest display:
