Chelsea host Tottenham in their next game in a pivotal Premier League fixture – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have claimed they want goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga recalled.
The Blues were beaten 2-0 at home to Manchester United on Monday night in the league, which was the third time they have lost against them this season in all competitions.

Frank Lampard’s side were on the wrong end of some VAR decisions, but ultimately there were poor defensive errors once again and a lack of cutting edge going forward.
It means that fourth-placed Chelsea are now only one point above fifth-placed Spurs ahead of the meeting between the London rivals.
Meanwhile, there is also Sheffield United and Manchester United within touching distance too in pursuit of a Champions League position.
Lampard knows his team will be out of the top four if they lose their next game and it’s coming to a major part in the season.

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media are adamant that Kepa needs to be recalled against Spurs.
Kepa has been dropped to the bench for the last two league fixtures due to his form this campaign and had time to reflect.
The 25-year-old Spaniard has been a real weak link when he’s played this year and seen his previous standards dip.
He is the world’s most expensive goalkeeper ever after losing £71million (BBC) from Athletic Bilbao in 2018 and enjoyed a decent debut season last year.

But his confidence is shot to bits right now after countless individual errors this campaign and that saw Lampard eventually drop him.
38-year-old veteran Willy Caballero has been in net for the last two league matches and hasn’t set the world alight, which is why some don’t want to see Kepa sidelined for any longer.
Here are some Blues fans demanding Kepa is recalled:
if you know me in real life you would know how much I love frank but please @franklampard just start kepa until the end of the season. If you really don’t want him sell him but hes 10x better than willy. He must play against spurs

Poor team construction, unfortunate. If no VAR it was a draw… Son is out on injury hope we shape up against Spurs. Time Kepa is brought back.

Kepa has too play against Spurs…
This entire feud is slowly turning into a farce…Kepa might not be good this season soo far but he was quite good in the last and I do not believe he is a bad keeper, just completly out of form or poorly coached at present..

@Chelseafc @Morriskid Please advice Frank Lampard to include Olivier Giroud and Kepa in the starting line up against Tottenham. Give Kovacic a break, he should be introduced later in that game

For everybody making Kepa the scapegoat for conceding & losing games…
How do you explain that last night? 🤔#Chelsea

I honestly will just need Alonso, Pulisic & Kepa back in the lineup against Tottenham. A loss against Spurs will really se Lampard shaking in the forthcoming days

If Lampard drops Kepa again against Spurs i’ll be furious, Cabellero is literally worse than Kepa…
He is the reason we dropped points against Leicester, Martial goal was so avoidable… BRING KEPA BACK!
Our team selection was horrible too, Lampard needs to get a grip. pic.twitter.com/FT6o2JcskN

Bring him back, any longer will seriously damage his confidence. Frank has made his point, Kepa hasn’t been good enough, now let him show us why he is the most expensive GK in the world
