The Blues will showcase ‘special’ banners and flags at Stamford Bridge for the Premier League clash against Manchester City today.
This will be Chelsea’s first home game since the Premier League restart and the club will exhibit several banners around the stadium since the fans are still barred from attending.
There will be ‘fan scene’ banners illustrated by artist Brad Crawford, as well as some of their crowd surfer banners and flags at the stands.
“Very proud to be representing the fans with my artwork,” Crawford said about the plan.
“I think the flags and banners showcase their passion and intensity and give real voice to the fans.”
One particular message for the NHS and key workers will be on display as an appreciation from the club.
Chelsea will also show the names of their season ticket holders and supporter groups on the pitchside advertisement boards.
Some lucky fans have been selected and will appear on the big screen.
While the child mascots who obviously will not be able to attend the game have had a special video call from the team captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
