Frank Lampard thinks Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke both impressed for Chelsea yesterday against Manchester United.
Chelsea suffered a 4-1 defeat on Thursday night during their penultimate game of the Premier League season, which reflects what a poor year it’s been for the club.
The Blues conceded four goals in a row before Joao Felix netted a late consolation for the visitors at Old Trafford.

Caretaker boss Lampard did find a couple of positives from the team’s latest result, though.
Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke, who both started last night, were part of a very young Blues line-up.
“There was some good performances within the group today some younger players. I thought Carney came in the midfield and did really well. Noni as well is developing,” Lampard told BBC Sport.

Chukwuemeka, 19, came into the Blues midfield this week and certainly wasn’t out of place.
The box-to-box midfielder showed some excellent individual moments on and off the ball last night, proving why supporters have been desperate for him to get more opportunities.
As for Madueke, it was another lively and exciting display from him on the right wing.
The 21-year-old attacker couldn’t quite get his final ball correct away at United, but his intent and skill is something that should intrigue incoming manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Lampard’s previously spoken glowingly about Madueke since he returned to the manager’s dugout, so it’s good to see some positives during this horrific run of results.
We hope that both Chukwuemeka and Madueke start Sunday’s final day at home to Newcastle United!
