'Feels fantastic': Timo Werner reacts to first training at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea new striker Timo Werner shared his excitement as the Blues returned to Stamford Bridge ahead of pre-season friendly against Brighton on Saturday.
Chelsea will visit Brighton’s Amex Stadium tomorrow as part of their pre-season ahead of the 2020/21 season.
After about a week of training at Cobham training centre, the players prepare for tomorrow’s game by having training sessions at Stamford Bridge.

Obviously, it’s nothing really special for most of the squad, but for this was a new experience for the two new signings; Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
Particularly for Werner, as Ziyech has visited the stadium in last year’s thrilling 4-4 draw between Chelsea and Ajax in the Champions League group stage back in November.
The Germany international wrote on Instagram: “First time on the pitch at the Bridge. Feels fantastic!”
Ruben Loftus-Cheek also shared his moment during today’s training at Stamford Bridge as he certainly looks for a comeback season after a long-term injury and few setbacks last season.
Anthony Barry who recently joined Lampard’s coaching team also help lead the training sessions.
