Graham Potter appears to have won over the Chelsea dressing room during his first couple of months in charge.

Following his appointment in September, it has been claimed that the Blues players really love working with the 47-year-old.

Chelsea snatched Potter away from Brighton and appointed him their new head coach, something that surprised many neutrals.

He’s got time during this World Cup break to reflect on a turbulent start as manager, which has included some mixed results during a hectic schedule. Hopefully, he can get his feet firmly under the table during the next month.

Chelsea players love working with Potter

The Blues fanbase will be intrigued to hear what Chelsea’s players actually think about Potter after spending some time with him.

90min journalist Graeme Bailey, who was speaking on the Talking Transfers podcast, has shared: “They (Chelsea) are going all in with Graham Potter… It’s all about building around Graham Potter now. From what I’m hearing from players inside the camp, they love working with him.”

Potter’s had an incredible rise to the top and it’s his reputation as a top coach that made him a standout candidate for Chelsea in their managerial search.

However, perhaps the only negative against his name was a lack of know-how and experience on the biggest stage. That means working on a day-to-day basis with top players and some egos, too.

He has made the Champions League look a walk in the park since taking charge at the Bridge. The Blues will face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last-16 after some excellent performances in the group stages, which included a double over AC Milan.

Potter can really implement his methods and ideas to the Chelsea group if he’s got the players on his side.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola recently claimed the English coach will do well at Stamford Bridge, so he needs time to really stamp his authority.
