Jack Grealish sends message to Chelsea star on Insta after what happened in England training

Jack Grealish left Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell feeling rather red-faced following his latest social media post.

Aston Villa’s captain uploaded a story to his Instagram that captured the moment he nutmegged Chilwell in England training.

Grealish had no shame in ridiculing his Three Lions teammate for all the world to see.

Unfortunately for the pair, the world didn’t get to view either of them in England’s first European Championship game.

Gareth Southgate opted not to include Chilwell at all in his 23-man squad against Croatia, whilst Grealish was an unused substitute.

Both decisions left a lot of fans scratching their heads, as the duo seemed shoe in starters for the match.

Chilwell had just completed a strong season with Chelsea, which ended with a Champions League winners medal.

His £45m (BBC Sport) move from Leicester City last summer hit a slight hurdle after Thomas Tuchel arrived, but he quickly re-established himself into the side.

What made Southgate’s team selection even more curious is that he played Kieran Trippier at left-back, leaving out his two natural options in Chilwell and Luke Shaw.

Meanwhile, Grealish was benched, despite performing brilliantly in England’s warm up fixtures ahead of the Euros.

Although the Villa talisman had been out injured for a portion of the campaign, his displays across the year earned him enough credit in the bank.

The Three Lions face Scotland on Friday, with spaces up for grabs once again.
