Jorginho has shared that Chelsea teammate Romelu Lukaku is always working extremely hard during training sessions.
The Blues squad use their Cobham training ground away from match days, with Thomas Tuchel looking to influence his ideas in the little time he gets with them.
A lot of the schedule must be around fitness, along with rest and recovery, because of the hectic schedules placed on teams nowadays. However, it’s clear that Tuchel has made a colossal impact since joining as Chelsea manager in January.
The London club made one significant addition to the squad in the summer by signing centre-forward Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan.
He’s back at Stamford Bridge after a previous Blues spell as a youngster, but he’s now the finished article that has four goals in four games so far this season.
Jorginho has given an insight into what Lukaku is like behind closed doors:
“I’m really happy for him because he works so hard during training and he deserves every goal that is coming. His big impact is well deserved,” Jorginho said.

Obviously, club captan Cesar Azpilicueta is a role model to the younger players that sets the standards with the way he conducts himself.
But, Jorginho and Lukaku are two more senior figures that lead by example.
Jorginho, who’s won UEFA Men’s Player of the Year award, has proven his quality during 2021 for both Chelsea and his country Italy. Meanwhile, Lukaku is a goal machine that is similarly a massive presence on the international stage with Belgium.
They are two individuals at the top of the game that are both vocal on the pitch. Also, they have so much experience for others to lean on whenever they need.
