Chelsea travel to Liverpool tonight for a Premier League fixture, which on paper looks a massive game in the race for the top four.

A win for either will temporarily lift them up to fourth in the table.

The Blues visit Anfield still unbeaten under manager Thomas Tuchel and he’s got a lot quality options to choose from in his squad.

A selection of Liverpool supporters on social media have been discussing the threat of Giroud, who they are obviously worried about facing.

There has been a lot of discussion from Liverpool fans about who should play for them to combat the Chelsea striker, with one suggesting they’d rather Tammy Abraham start.

Giroud, 34, is one of the most experienced forwards in the Premier League and was a starter in the France team that won the 2018 World Cup.

The £18million (BBC) star has turned out to be a bargain for Chelsea, as he operates so well as a target man linking up play and is a natural finisher around the box.

Giroud has scored 11 goals in 23 games across all competitions this season.
