Manchester United's Daniel James trolls Chelsea when facing Billy Gilmour in FIFA tournament

Manchester United winger Daniel James has poked fun at Chelsea when he faced Billy Gilmour in a charity FIFA tournament.

The two young talents faced off each other in the Combat Corona FIFA20 tournament on Sunday night.

The players were discussing the teams they would pick as each of James and Gilmour unsurprisingly picked their respective club Manchester United and Chelsea

James then jokingly said: “Is this going to be the fourth time we beat you this season then?” to which Gilmour replied: “You what?”

James eventually won the tie with a 3-1 in the first leg while Gilmour won 1-0 in the second match.

His comment was referring to the three losses Chelsea suffered against Manchester United this season; twice in the Premier League and once in the Carabao Cup.

James was on the scoresheet in the first encounter between the two teams, as Chelsea suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat in their first Premier League game under Frank Lampard.

Marcus Rashford’s brilliance in the league cup clash in which he scored both United’s goals in October handed Chelsea their second loss against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

A 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge in February ensured United their first league double over Chelsea since 1987/88.

However despite losing all the three battles against Solskjaer’s men, so far it is Chelsea who are leading the race to the top-four finish.
