Chelsea supporters hope Christian Pulisic can overcome his difficult week by featuring against Leeds United on Saturday.

Pulisic was left out of another starting XI during the Blues’ 2-0 Premier League win over Everton on Monday.

Doubts over his future at Stamford Bridge then began to surface.

Followers of Chelsea believe there is only one recipe for their struggling American star.

This is what some of them had to say on Twitter:

The £158,654-a-week (Spotrac) forward has yet to be included from the off in a league match under Thomas Tuchel.

His only contributions have been from the bench. Even those have been minimal.

A trip to Elland Road this weekend offers Pulisic the perfect opportunity to prove himself again to Chelsea fans and the club’s hierarchy.

But mostly to Tuchel, who has given pretty much every one of his players a new platform to showcase their abilities.

With a Champions League home tie awaiting Chelsea next Wednesday, changes aplenty are expected for the Leeds clash.

This could well include Pulisic, who already has good memories of facing the Whites.

In the reverse fixture earlier this season, the 22-year-old scored his only league goal of the campaign in a 3-1 Chelsea win at Stamford Bridge.

After everything that’s been said and spoken about Pulisic, all he needs is some sweet relief on the football pitch.

I think Tuchel will be feeling that anguish as well and should respond appropriately.
