PSG Approach, Goretzka Move, and Zola In

PSG Approach

French side Paris Saint Germain have made an approach for Antonio Conte, according to reports. Unai Emery is the current boss at the Ligue 1 side, but could be sacked if PSG fail to compete in the Champions League. Conte is reportedly one of a number of options being considered by the Parisian side, if they decide to replace Emery. Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino are rumoured to be wanted by the club. Any potential deal between Conte and PSG would not happen until the summer.

Goretzka Move

Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka reportedly wants a move to England, and Chelsea are one of the favourites to sign the German in the summer. Goretzka is out of contract in the summer, and currently has no plans to stay in the Bundesliga. The likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich are all said to be interested in the 22-year-old, but he is interested in moving to the Premier League. Chelsea and Liverpool are the favourites for the German’s signature.

Zola In

Gianfranco Zola is in the running to replace the recently departed Michael Emenalo as Technical Director. The Blues legend is reportedly one of many people being considered to replace Emenalo, who quit his role last week. The Italian would be a popular choice, should he be appointed. Frank Lampard has also been linked with the role at Stamford Bridge.

Isco Wanted

Alvaro Morata says he would bring Isco to Chelsea when asked if he could bring one of his former Real Madrid teammates to West London.

“I would take Isco to Chelsea now when I return.

“But I think that right now he has one of the most important roles at Madrid. In the national team he is also key.

“I think he is unstoppable when he feels important. The whole world has seen it since he took the reins at Madrid. He is the most important player at Real Madrid and in the national team.”
