Christian Pulisic said Chelsea are going to fight on all fronts with new summer signings now that they have gone past the “transition” period.
It’s still early in the season, but the Blues fans should be excited with their new team.
Kai Havertz and Timo Werner have been the focal points in the final third since the start of the season.
While at the back, Edouard Mendy, Ben Chilwell, and Thiago Silva’s presence helped them keep their first Premier League clean-sheet in the 4-0 win against Crystal Palace.
It won’t be long before we could see Chelsea at full strength with Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech close to returning.
Pulisic who made a second-half cameo against Palace is excited about playing alongside his new teammates.
He told CBS Sports: “We’ve brought in more experienced players this year with some new signings, and I think we also have a great group of young guys.
“So I think it’s a really good mix.”
Pulisic said last season was a transition for the Blues, particularly with the summer transfer ban preventing the club to strengthen the squad, but now they are ready to challenge for silverware.
“This year there’s definitely a boosted confidence, we’ve got an edge,” he added.
“We’re ready, we want to compete, and we want to win titles.
“Our goal is to finish at the highest standing in the Premier League and win every trophy available — Champions League included.
“We’ve got a great group of guys, we’re going to compete, and we’re hungry to win titles.”
