Christian Pulisic spoke about his partnership with Chelsea teammate Olivier Giroud and described the striker as “a dream striker to play with”.

Just a few days ago, Jamie Carragher praised Giroud for his link-up play and how Eden Hazard used to love playing with him.

The 34-year-old’s big frame and incredible hold-up play make him an ideal attacking partner for these smaller, faster forwards who can complement his game.

Pulisic is one of them — and it is clear the American loves playing alongside Giroud.

“He [Giroud] is incredible to work with, just the movements he makes and the way he communicates is very clear,” Pulisic told Chelsea Mike’d Up Podcast.

“[He’s] just a dream striker to play with.

“I’ve been lucky to have this experience and play with him. So I’m looking forward to continuing that partnership with him.”

But it is not only football, as Pulisic could perhaps also learn about a thing or two about modelling from the veteran striker.

Speaking about his famous GQ photoshoots and interview, Pulisic jokingly said: “I think he [Giroud] was proud of me [smiles].”
