N’Golo Kante will reportedly not accept a fresh contract proposal from Chelsea, as he eyes up a move to Barcelona.
According to SPORT, the midfielder would much rather join the Spanish side than extended his stay at Stamford Bridge.
Kante’s deal expires in June, and it is still not certain whether or not he will renew his allegiance to the Blues.
There haven’t been many positive signs pointing towards a progression in contract talks.

The 31-year-old is apparently heavily debating his future in South West London, having been stationed there for over half a decade.
He has won almost every trophy imaginable as a Chelsea player, including the Premier League and Champions League.
Yet, with injuries hampering the Frenchman in the past few seasons, he clearly feels like its time for a change of scenery.
N’Golo Kante calls for Barcelona switch
Barcelona appears to be Kante’s preferred next destination, with Xavi’s employers seemingly sharing the desire to bring him on board.
The sleeping La Liga giant have already raided Cobham twice recently, taking Andreas Christensen and Marcos Alonso away from Thomas Tuchel.
However, SPORT claim that the Camp Nou hierarchy want insurance that the £30m signing from Leicester City will be fully fit before striking an agreement with Chelsea.

Kante hasn’t played a competitive match since suffering a hamstring injury at the beginning of the campaign.
His World Cup dream ended as a result of the latest string of problems thrown in his direction.
Chelsea may also decide their number seven’s adventure has run its course.
You might leave, NG, but you’ll never be forgotten.
