‘Schooling our boys’: Some Chelsea fans love Romelu Lukaku training ground clip

Chelsea have uploaded a post on social media showing members of the Blues squad in training – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter love one particular moment from their centre-forward Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku, 28, returned to Stamford Bridge this summer for a second Chelsea spell as he departed Italian champions Inter Milan.

The striker’s second debut for the club ended with a goal in the win against Arsenal last weekend, so attention now turns towards building on that performance away to Liverpool this Saturday.

He’s been videoed by the club’s media scoring a thunderous left-footed finish in training, which he follows up with a cheeky comment.

“I will teach you how to score all of you,” Lukaku joked to some of his off-screen teammates.

Romelu Lukaku can be key in training and on the pitch

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media are amazed by Lukaku’s presence on the training pitch, especially with the way he jokes about goalscoring to teammates.

It’s obvious that the Belgian is a prolific scorer who should make Thomas Tuchel’s XI a lot more clinical in the final third. They have been crying out for a serious frontman since Diego Costa left the club.

However, a lot of people wouldn’t have factored in his overall impact around the club when he re-signed.

First of all, he’s a leader that youngster can lean on. In addition, he’s got so much top level experience and has the confidence to blend in with this already close-knit squad.

It’s very early days, but it’s a perfect signing from the club.
