Sheffield United praise Chelsea loanee Ethan Ampadu for his cup performance
Chelsea loanee Ethan Ampadu got his first minutes in a Sheffield United shirt on Thursday night – and some of their fans on Twitter were impressed by what they saw from him.

Despite defeat for Sheffield United at Turf Moor, there were positives for Chris Wilder’s team after handing out four debuts.
Ampadu recently moved to Bramall Lane on a season-long loan from Chelsea and he’s looking to gain some real top-flight experience with the Blades.
The 20-year-old slotted straight into a back three system that Sheffield United commonly use and put in an assumed performance.
He is a versatile player that was used in a centre-back role by manager Wilder, but later in the second-half switched to a wing-back role and didn’t let his standards slip.

The senior Wales international has also been used as a defensive midfielder for much of his short career as well and the youngster needs to try lock down a fixed position.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will surely be keeping a close eye on how Ampadu progresses this season and he’s one that has got the potential to break into the first-team at Stamford Bridge in the long-term.
Here are some Sheffield United fans praising Ampadu:
