Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell poked fun at Tammy Abraham’s heartfelt social media post after Chelsea’s 1-0 win over West Ham on Saturday.

Abraham was only on the pitch for about three minutes in that game.

But you could easily see why three-minute cameo was special for him considering it was his first Chelsea appearance since the win over Southampton in February.

Prior to the trip to the London Stadium, the 23-year-old had struggled to even make the bench under Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel finally gave him a chance to be on the bench ahead of Olivier Giroud, thanks to his performances in training.

“Big win! It’s been tough but [it] felt good to be back out there,” the England international wrote on Instagram.

There are a lot of supportive messages in the comment section, including from Fikayo Tomori who is currently on loan at AC Milan.

Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount, however, had different ideas.

Chilwell wrote: “You’re 6’5 in airfoces, who [are] you kidding?”

While Mount added, referring to Abraham’s miss towards the end of the game: “We’ll do some heading practice tomorrow, bro!”

Despite the two-month absence from the pitch, Abraham is currently still leading Chelsea’s goalscoring charts with 12 goals.

Some would feel that he had been unfairly left out of the team, but it is still nice to see that Abraham himself is very supportive of his teammates.

Timo Werner even said that his goal celebration on Saturday was a tribute to Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi for their support before the game.
