Graham Potter has claimed at a Chelsea club event that he has been really impressed by Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva and Mateo Kovacic since he has joined Chelsea.
The trio are three of the most experienced players the club have at their disposal, and their brilliance both on and off the pitch has been required to get them out of their recent tough situation.
The Blues were on a run of form that consisted of just two wins in 18 games, a streak which ramped the pressure up on the once-untouchable Potter.

However, a big week which consisted of three wins in a row for the club began to bring the feel good factor back to Stamford Bridge.
Kovacic has been club captain for those three games, and formed an impressive partnership with club-record signing Enzo Fernandez in midfield.
His leadership role has come off the back of injuries forcing Silva and Azpilicueta out the side.
Nevertheless, Potter has praised all three for their ability to understand what’s required to play fot a club like Chelsea.

He said: “It’s really important. You look at the last couple of windows, the amount of players we’ve turned over, it’s really vital that you’ve got some guys there that know, that understand Chelsea and understand what’s required. Because as much as you can talk, it’s best to lead people by doing.
“The likes of Azpi, the likes of Thiago, the likes of Kova, they’ve been fantastic for us. We had a really tough period, there’s no denying that. We had to come through, and had to show our quality. We had a big week, but we’re not satisfied by that. We want to keep moving forward.”
It is expected that the Croatian will start again tomorrow when the Blues welcome relegation-threatened Everton to Stamford Bridge.
