Chelsea have confirmed the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as the new manager led the training session for the first time on Tuesday.
The Blues had to make it an evening training session, but Tuchel has finally met his new squad at Cobham training centre.
The 47-year-old signed an 18-month contract with the possibility of an extension of another year.
Chelsea have also confirmed that he will be in the dugout for his first game ever Premier League fixture against Wolves on Wednesday.
“I would like to thank Chelsea FC for their confidence in me and my staff,” the new boss told Chelsea’s official website.
“We all have the greatest respect for Frank Lampard’s work and the legacy he created at Chelsea.
“At the same time, I cannot wait to meet my new team and compete in the most exciting league in football.
“I am grateful to now be part of the Chelsea family – it feels amazing!”
