It is no secret that Chelsea has a bit of an army on loan. Whether it be to the lower leagues in England, or somewhere in Europe, there is a chance you will find a Chelsea-owned player there somewhere.

Here is a list of three loan stars who made a big impact on their temporary clubs this weekend.

Brown has made quite the impression at struggling Luton Town this season. Despite not often being amongst the goals, he has provided six assists in just 15 appearances for the Hatters. The 22-year-old scored his first goal for them, what was the winner, in a crucial 2-1 win over Charlton Athletic.

The following fixture did not go so well for Brown and his team. They suffered a demoralizing 7-0 defeat at the hands of Brentford, and the young midfielder also picked up an injury.

Having only played 11 minutes for the Blues, in 2014/15, some would say Izzy’s time at the club may be coming to an end. However, he is still young and could yet help with Lampard’s midfield depth.

Since joining Chelsea in 2014 from Hajduk Split, Pasalic has spent time on loan in France, Spain, Russia and most recently Italy.

The latest of his five loan spells is with Atalanta in Serie A, and he is enjoying quite a productive season. He signed a new contract with Chelsea in the summer until 2022, so the Blues may be keeping an eye on the Croatian.

Pasalic has scored four goals and provided two assists so far in all competitions, including a goal against Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Manchester City in the Champions League. The 24-year-old netted twice in Atalanta’s 3-0 win over Brescia at the weekend and was unfortunate not to get a third.

Clarke-Salter is another of Chelsea’s youth who signed a new contract in summer and is beginning to break into the side at Birmingham City.

The 22-year-old defender notched his first goal for the club at the weekend in a 1-1 draw with Milwall and has been a big reason behind the Midlands club conceding just three goals in their last five outings.
