Vidal Chances

Arturo Vidal says Chelsea have no chance of signing him this month. The Blues are reportedly keen on signing the Chilean in January, but the midfielder doesn’t want to leave Bayern Munich at the moment. Despite being keen to remain in Germany, Vidal has the door open for a summer departure, suggesting that he could seek to leave the club when the season comes to an end.

Kanon Dream

ADO Den Haag defender Wilfried Kanon has said he dreams of playing for Chelsea. Kanon has been a regular for the Dutch side since moving there in 2013, but says he is learning English in preparation of a move to the Premier League. The Ivorian centre-back is highly thought of by the Eredivisie side, and was part of the Ivory Coast squad that won the African Cup of Nations in 2015. A move for Kanon isn’t currently being discussed by Chelsea, but Kanon hopes he can someday make the move to Stamford Bridge.

No Striker Needed

Eden Hazard has urged the Chelsea board not to sign a new striker this month. The Blues are currently searching for a new striker, with Michy Batshuayi looking likely to leave the club on loan. Edin Dzeko is reportedly close to a move to Stamford Bridge, but Hazard believes the club aren’t in need of a new attacking addition.

“I think we have two very good strikers in Alvaro and Michy,

“If they are not ready to play I can play striker, so I don’t think we need another striker.

“Because we are missing chances people are saying we need another striker, but if we are scoring goals, we are the best attack in the league and no-one can say we need a striker.

“It depends on the form of the team and I think we’re happy with the team we have.
