Zaha Interest, David Luiz Exit, and Musonda Loan
Reports have linked Chelsea with a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha. The reports suggest the Blues have been tracking the 25-year-old and discussions have taken place over a potential bid. The Ivorian has been very impressive in a difficult season for Palace, and has also reportedly interested Arsenal and Tottenham. Zaha spent a few years at Old Trafford but couldn’t find a starting spot at Manchester United and returned to Selhurst Park. Any potential deal for Zaha wouldn’t be cheap, as the player would be vital in the Eagles’ fight to stay in the Premier League.
David Luiz Exit
David Luiz could be set to leave Chelsea for the second time, with both Real Madrid and Juventus reportedly interested. The Brazilian’s relationship with Antonio Conte isn’t great, and he has lost his place in the Chelsea line-up to Andreas Christensen. His last appearance in the Premier League came in October, and reports claim he set for the exit door. Italian champions Juventus are reportedly keen on bringing the defender to Serie A as a replacement for Leonardo Bonucci, who left the club in the summer. Real Madrid are also said to be interested in the Brazilian’s signature.
Charly Musonda is set to depart Chelsea on loan in January, with Inter Milan his most likely destination. The Belgian has hit the headlines a few times this season, for both good and bad. Earlier this season, he hit out at the club over his lack of first-team football on Instagram. However, he did score on his first start for the club in a Carabao Cup tie against Nottingham Forest. He also signed a new five-year deal to remain at the club to 2022. His new contract will see him depart the Blues on a temporary basis, with Inter Milan an interested party. The Serie A club are keen on bringing the winger to the San Siro as they battle for the title.
