Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has made a system change for the FA Cup semifinal against Manchester United and some fans are unhappy with Christian Pulisic’s absence.

Lampard has opted for a 3-4-3 formation to face Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s 3-5-2.

Willy Caballero gets the nod to start ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga, while Cesar Azpilicueta will likely play as the right side centre-back alongside Antonio Rudiger and Kurt Zouma.

In the middle, Lampard has gone with Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho, with Marcos Alonso and Reece James provide the width as wing backs.

Mason Mount will once again play as a winger, as Willian and Olivier Giroud make up the front three.

Mount and Willian could play crucial roles of shutting down Manchester United’s wingbacks; Brandon Wiliams and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

But it means Pulisic, who has arguably been Chelsea’s best attacker since the Premier League return, will have to sit on the bench.

Some fans couldn’t hide their disappointment with Lampard’s decision, although some also understand that the American may be rested for the Liverpool game.
