'Buy back absolutely needed': Some Chelsea fans worried as report claims bid is about to come in for their player

Chelsea may reportedly receive a bid from Premier League rivals Southampton in the next few days for Tino Anjorin – and some Blues fans have responded negatively on Twitter.

Anjorin, 20, is another exciting Blues talent to come out of the club’s glittering academy at Cobham.

The attacking midfielder left Stamford Bridge in the summer for a season-long loan with Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow, but an injury in October has since seen him return to London for treatment.

According to Football London, Southampton are eyeing a move for the 20-year-old before the January window shuts on Monday.

It is explained the youngster is not expected to return to Lokomotiv Moscow this season, so the Saints want to try secure his signature on a permanent basis this month.

Watford Hiring Roy Hodgson Is A Joke.

The report states Chelsea would prefer to loan him out to one of the interested clubs in the Championship, but Southampton are poised to strike a deal.

Anjorin, who earned rave reviews from Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel last summer, has made five first-team appearances for the Blues. He definitely looks like another upcoming talent with a lot of potential.

Chelsea fans fear another Southampton raid

A selection of Blues supporters on social media are worried about potentially selling Anjorin during the latter stages of this January window.

One even said any exit should include the option to buy him back.

Southampton have already signed right-back Tino Livramento from Chelsea in recent times, which is a deal that’s worked out superbly well for everyone at St Mary’s.

Also, Southampton are currently enjoying the quality of centre-forward Armando Broja, who’s on loan this season from the Blues.
