Armando Broja impressed for Southampton during their 3-2 win over West Ham yesterday – and some Saints fans on Twitter loved the performance from their Chelsea loanee.
Broja, who joined Southampton on loan this season from Chelsea, is starting to become a vital player at St Mary’s.
The 20-year-old centre-forward earned his side a penalty away to West Ham after a bullish run up the pitch. In addition, he was a serious presence and a handful for the opposition defenders.
He’s won over Saints manager Ralph Hasenhuttl to become a regular in the XI, so it’s no surprise to see him keep getting better and better with more starts.
The Albania international is one of a few Chelsea-owned players starring away from Stamford Bridge this season at a Premier League rival. If you look across the club’s loan options, he’s definitely one that has the potential to break into Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
Romelu Lukaku and Kai Havertz are Chelsea’s main options to play in the number nine position. For Broja, he’s a natural centre-forward that’s already looking settled at Premier League level.
Joe Cole recently described him as “outstanding”, too.

Saints fans love Chelsea loanee
A selection of Southampton supporters on social media were amazed by the Boxing Day display from Broja.
He’s got the responsibility of leading the line by himself right now and there are definitely shades of ex-Blues forward Diego Costa in how he provides an attacking outlet.
Yes, many will judge him on how many goals he scores. Incidentally, he’s netted six times in 16 appearances so far this campaign.
However, you’ve got to watch him in action to see he already possesses the all-round game at such a young age.
Here are some Saints fans raving about Broja on Sunday:
