Chelsea released a video on Twitter yesterday of Monday’s first-team training – and some Blues fans were left very excited after spotting Lewis Hall as part of the senior group.
Hall, 17, made his senior debut for Chelsea at the weekend in the 5-1 victory over Chesterfield in the FA Cup third round.
The Blues teenager, who received praise from teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi for his performance, looked composed on his step up from the academy to Thomas Tuchel’s main group.
A training ground clip posted by the club this week shows him with the first team ahead of Wednesday’s Carabao Cup semi final second leg away to Tottenham.

Hall the next breakout Chelsea star?
A selection of Blues supporters on social media clearly have high hopes for Hall after creating a buzz around him training with the senior squad.
It was really impressive to watch his performance at Stamford Bridge a few days ago, albeit the match was against non-league opposition.
The 17-year-old didn’t looked out of his depth playing alongside some seasoned professionals and the fact he wasn’t in his favoured position highlights his quality even further. He’s a versatile left-footed midfielder that showed his maturity by slotting into a role as a centre-back in a back three.
It looks like he’s done enough to catch Tuchel’s eye as he continues to train with the first team, so will he be yet another immense talent to come through the Cobham academy?
He’s relatively young and still maturing, but the early signs are very promising that he’s mentally tough enough and has the individual ability.
