'I cannot believe this': Some Chelsea fans left stunned by what they're hearing from Thomas Tuchel now
A portion of Chelsea supporters on social media were in disbelief after reading Thomas Tuchel’s latest comments about Erling Haaland.
During an interview with Sport Bild, Tuchel revealed he and the Blues chain of command still frequently speak about Haaland following the failed move for him in the summer.
“We talk about him regularly, of course, because he’s a fantastic player and clearly the defining figure at Dortmund, who is a big rival for us in the Champions League,” confessed the German coach.
Mention of the Norwegian will have set off alarm bells in the minds of Chelsea fans.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
Their hopes had been up for so long about signing the 21-year-old for the current campaign.
But they were continuously knocked back by reports of Mino Raiola demanding an extortionate amount of money for his client.
In the end, Romelu Lukaku’s homecoming eased the Haaland pain massively.
Some simply could not handle the heartbreak again and dismissed Tuchel’s comments about the Dortmund striker immediately, while others were shocked that he was prepared to speak so openly about his admiration of the striker.
Here’s how they reacted on Twitter:
We missed the boat on that one

Erling and Romelu sharing a room
Lukaku was literally signed instead of Haaland.
So the fact Chelsea are potentially even considering playing the two together seems ludicrous.
Unless Tuchel fancies going back to basics and playing a traditional 4-4-2, with two target men leading the line.
For all his tactical astuteness, this scenario seems very unlikely.
Yet, stranger scenes have been witnessed before.
Destructive duo
The firepower the Blues would be able to wield is almost unthinkable.
Since the start of last season, the two have scored 88 goals combined.
That’s five more than Manchester City managed in their latest Premier League triumph.
A hypothetical partnership forged in the fires of Football Manager.
Could Haaland and Lukaku really link up in real life? We wait with bated breath…
