'Love it': Blues fans react after Kurt Zouma helped Chelsea maintain Premier League lead

Some Chelsea fans on social media were ecstatic after Kurt Zouma helped maintain their three-point lead in the Premier League with a winning goal against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Blues would have remained top of the table regardless of the result. But thanks to Zouma, they have now gained a point on Liverpool, despite the disappointing 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday.

The France international scored his first goal for the Hammers in West Ham’s 3-2 dramatic victory over Liverpool on Sunday.

To be fair, most Chelsea fans are aware of his goalscoring capability, especially from set-pieces, having seen him score several important goals for the Blues in the last few seasons.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

Last season, he ended the season with five goals, the fifth-highest at Chelsea, and just two goals behind their league top scorer, Jorginho.

Here are what Chelsea fans on Twitter said about Zouma’s decisive goal against Liverpool.

Heading into the international break, Chelsea are now three points clear of second-placed Manchester City and third-placed West Ham.

Thomas Tuchel did not sound particularly excited about the break in a recent interview, but he is also already looking forward to making preparations for the next fixtures.
