Chelsea have made an announcement regarding ticket prices for the 2022/23 season – and some Blues on Twitter have been left extremely frustrated by the news.

Chelsea confirmed on their official website on Wednesday a new structure for the Westview part of the Stamford Bridge ground, which will come into place at the start of the next campaign. 

Westview will be split into four areas, with tier one season tickets on the halfway line worth £3,9000. In addition, tier two season tickets will cost £3,000 and tier three season tickets £1,500. 

The Daily Mail explains that the current price of £1,250 will fly to just under £4,000 for a tier one ticket.

Chelsea fans rage at ticket inflation

A large group of Blues supporters on social media are venting about this week’s announcement regarding the increase in ticket prices for part of the home stadium.

Of course, astronomical fees for tickets are going to make it harder and harder for some fans to attend games.

Unfortunately, it’s one of the hottest tickets in London at times trying to attend a match at Stamford Bridge. 

The Bridge can be rocking at home games, especially on a European night, but many feel this will only restrict the kind of atmosphere everyone wants.
