Christian Pulisic has congratulated the five Chelsea teammates who were involved in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday, including eventual winners Jorginho and Emerson.
The 22-year-old is now back in London and took part in Monday’s pre-season training at the Cobham training ground.
Pulisic himself has recently won an international trophy, the CONCACAF Nations League, with the US men’s team.
Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri have now officially become European champions at both club and international levels after Italy beat England in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday.
“Big congrats to Jorgi and Emerson — I’m so proud of you guys,” the American told Chelsea TV.
“What an amazing accomplishment. Euro Championship. Yeah, really incredible, your team was amazing.
“And also to Reece, Chilly and Mason. Honestly, it could have gone either way.”
Who were involved in Chelsea’s pre-season training on Monday?
After Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tino Anjorin and later followed by Marcos Alonso became the first four players to report for the first training session last Friday, there were 28 players present at Cobham on Monday, including Pulisic.
