West Ham United’s Declan Rice responded to the form of Chelsea and England talent Mason Mount through the medium of Instagram.

Mount dazzled again during the Three Lions latest World Cup qualifying victory over Albania.

He scored an excellent second half goal to secure all three points for Gareth Southgate’s side.

The name of Chelsea’s talented midfielder has rightly been on everybody’s lips recently, thanks to his excellent performances with club and country.

Rice also jumped on the bandwagon by uploading a social media post about his long-time friend and national team college.

It perfectly summarised how every Blues fan and probably some rival supporters are feeling about the young star right now.

Rice was not the only current player from outside of Chelsea who Mount dazzled yesterday, either.

Jack Grealish posted under Mount’s latest Instagram post, applauding him.

Mount was also encouraged by Chelsea teammates Ben Chilwell and Tammy Abraham, Tottenham Hotspur youngster Marcel Lavernier and ex-Blue Mario Melchiot.

Gareth Southgate probably shares their views as well, having started him in both of England’s fixtures over the international break.

Poland awaits the Three Lions on Wednesday before league football restarts, with Mount in line to make it a hattrick of appearances ahead of his return to Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel will be hoping his levels don’t drop on the weekend when Chelsea take on West Bromwich Albion.

This is a fixture the Blues are expected to win, which should be guaranteed if Mount is fully fit and firing on all cylinders once more.
