Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount seemed to be having fun during an England training session as the Chelsea pair worked on their shooting skills.

Chelsea quartet Mount, Abraham, Ben Chilwell and Reece James are with the England squad for tonight’s friendly against Republic of Ireland. England also face UEFA Nations League ties against Belgium and Iceland during the next week.

Mount and Abraham joined England teammates Jadon Sancho and Phil Foden in a rapid-fire shooting drill.

As Mount got ready to go first, Abraham warned: “Mate, this is tough.”

Mount responded with a smile to camera: “Why is he doubting me? Just watch.”

Mount buried his first two chances but blasted the last one over the bar.

Abraham made the drill look easy, however, which is no surprise seeing how clinical he is for the Blues.

Speaking of clinical finishers, Chelsea sharp-shooter Timo Werner has arrived in Leipzig. He joins Antonio Rudiger and his Germany teammates after being given a few days’ extra rest.

Werner missed out on Germany’s friendly win over the Czech Republic on Wednesday. However, he will be available for their Nations League matches against Ukraine and Spain on Saturday and Tuesday respectively.
